A Mini Sphere Coming to National Harbor?

The National Harbor may soon be home to the world’s second Sphere venue! Maryland and Prince George’s County officials have announced a plan with Sphere Entertainment Co. to build a new entertainment landmark.

What to expect from the proposed venue:

• Iconic Look: A 6,000-seat “mini” Sphere featuring the famous “Exosphere” exterior LED screen.
• Next-Gen Tech: An immersive interior with the world’s first 16K x 16K LED screen, 4D haptic seating, and advanced sound.
• Huge Impact: Projected to bring $1 billion in annual economic value and thousands of new jobs to the region.
• Next Steps: While the intent is clear, final agreements and government approvals are still pending.
